Sea horse can be red, orange, yellow, gray, blue, or green. They might be solid-colored or have patterns, such as spots or zebralike stripes. Sea horses can change colours to blend in with their surroundings.
Male sea horses carry their babies' eggs inside their pouches until they're ready to hatch. The daddy sea horse is the only male in the animal kingdom known to give birth. Baby sea horses are called sea ponies.
